Andrew is a 52 year old dynamic, enthusiastic, life loving, sporty, international businessman.
He has home bases under the beautiful slopes of Table Mountain in Cape Town and the leafy gardens of Cadogan Place, in Knightsbridge, London.
Having graduated from Southampton University, Andrew went on to further his studies at Cornell University in New York, USA. His first appointment was at the London Tara Hotel then owned, by the Irish National Airline, Aer Lingus.
His career progressed quickly and at the age of 22, Andrew was the youngest Senior Duty Manager at any hotel in London and having attained this position he was head hunted and offered a Sales and Marketing position at the then Hyatt Carlton Tower, located in London’s prestigious Cadogan Place. At the age of 24, Andrew was nominated Hyatt’s best sales person in the world.
During the latter part of Andrew’s 20’s he went on to work with Inter-Continental Hotels and there after the Government of Malta, within the Ministry of Tourism as a Private Advisor to the Minister, where he played a spearheading role in the development of the Institute Of Tourism Studies, in St George’s Bay, Malta. After 5 years Andrew had the opportunity of being introduced to South Africa and in 1994, the year when the country became democratic, Tourism Corporation Africa was incorporated in Pretoria and London and Andrew spearheaded the development of what has become the most prestigious group of Privately Owned Boutique Hotels, Game Lodges and Private Islands on the African Continent and in the world.
